Rachel Lilly Photography has been built alongside a growing family and a belief that everyone deserves to see themselves beautifully captured. The business offers wedding, portrait, family and commercial photography, with Rachel's drone license and videography skills adding many more perspectives to the business.

Rachel is largely a one woman team, except for shooting wedding days. During a wedding day, she is joined by her talented friend Hatty. They met whilst shooting a wedding together for another photographer in the early days of Rachel Lilly Photography, and formed an immediate strong bond through their creativity and hilarity…!

When she was little, she was always teased by my family for the photos she took - when the developed photos arrived in the post, they saw that her fingers had blocked the lens of her first little camera FAR too many times!! She went to Hereford Art College ready to study illustration, yet through her Foundation BTEC Diploma, she found she was creating more photos than drawings. It was here where her tutors took her to the side and asked if she had considered studying photography, as they could see her passion for it, and were keen to point out she had a 'natural eye for photography'. Life changed that day; 3 months later she was given an unconditional spot at her chosen university to study Photography in the Arts. As a naturally shy person, wedding photography was never on her agenda. But it wasn’t long until she gave it a go, and never looked back. This helped with her confidence no ends! She has now travelled from all over Europe to the Great Barrer Reef to photograph people’s weddings and elopements. A dream she never knew she had!! Having a family obviously took priority for some years. Spending everyday with her little people is a time she will never ever regret, but it’s been a struggle to enter back into the ever changing world of photography. Never giving up, things have been picking up again during 2026, and she was thrilled to win South East Wales’ Best Wedding and Family Photographer earlier this year!
