About Dimitri

I have spent my career helping people understand some of the world's biggest challenges and opportunities. My passion is agriculture and the planet we all share. For me, few industries are as important. I spend over 20 years at the BBC, where I learned the power of storytelling, curiosity and asking difficult questions. That experience continues to shape how I lead today. The best communications are not about broadcasting messages. They are about helping people understand complex issues, building trust and creating meaningful connections. Today, I lead External Communications and Value Chain partnerships at Syngenta Group, the world's biggest Ag Tech company. My role spans the full spectrum of corporate affairs, from reputation management, media relations, executive positioning and thought leadership, to financial communications, issues management and crisis response. I also oversee strategic partnerships across the global food and agriculture value chain, working with companies, organisations and stakeholders who share an ambition to make agriculture more sustainable, resilient and productive. I have led global communications strategies across highly complex topics, helping organisations navigate transformation, geopolitical challenges, regulatory scrutiny and societal expectations. I am particularly interested in how innovation, technology and sustainability can come together to address real-world challenges while creating business value.
